How Journey Home works:
Everyone served through The Journey Home receives individualized attention tailored to their current needs. We focus on supportive services and enforcing services already being offered to our participants.
An individualized plan of support with goals and objectives to be reached within a designated timeline is created by the participant, support staff, and other local service providers. Participants receive support and encouragement through interactive instruction and learn how to advocate for themselves.
Guests of The Journey Home have the opportunity to implement the skills and services they have received with appropriate supervision and support.
Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
ALL people are
How is Journey Home different:
We believe in loving unconditionally and supporting all individuals based on the example of Jesus Christ.
We believe all people have the right and responsibility to make informed choices that will affect their lives, and we accept that risk may come with some choices.
We believe the results of our choices can create both positive and negative learning experiences that contribute to growth.
We believe everyone deserves respectful support in order to reach their personal goals.
We do not discontinue support after a predetermined amount of time. Our goal is to coach individuals in implementing a plan for personal responsibility and self-sustainment. We aim to continue supporting individuals until this plan is in place and practiced, with multiple supports.
We believe people do not need to “prepare” for life. They need to live their life.
